I did consider a strip but I've already got the lathe and Twincam in pieces so chances are if I stripped the bike too there'd be a chance it'd not get put back together for a long time which isn't go ...

Most of us are still out there but many are wiser so need less assistance or in my case bike is stored so no running issues. Plus other projects have taken over at present so the bike is on back burne ...

The bushings have a 10mm clearance hole. As long as the valve shafts are straight and aligned there shouldn't be any need to ream

Gutted for you mister. Similar happened to me years back. It just rolled over at standstill with bars on full lock. Similar damage
I bought a brand new panel (at great expense I may add)
