|
|
My 1990 Exup 1000r is way past being an original model- no fairing etc.
I’d like to fit shorty adjustable levers. The problem is this: The brake setup is 1999 R1 callipers and master cylinder. The clutch is stock 1990 1000r. I can get a short lever for the R1 no problem. But a matching Exup clutch lever is for a 1995 RU model only. I can’t remember, is the clutch master cylinder different on the RU? Will the RU lever fit the 1000R master cylinder? Or do I need to change the master cylinder for an RU one? Thanks in advance chaps! |

On the R model the adjustable clutch lever for the 750 fits. I run this on mine to close the lever span _________________ AKA Bald headed b'stard |

I’ve got one on mine and it came off a YZF 750. 👍
Here's a photo.
