Just a quick question hopefully someone will know. The part numbers vary on wheels for different Exup FZR1000 models but are they all interchangeable? I have a 1990 model and I aquired a set of wheels off a later FZR (91 onwards, not sure exactly which one)
Before I launch into sorting them, are the the same? will they fit ok?
Hi Mark, believe the rear wheels will fit ALL years of FZR1000 exup (Right way up forks and RU's too) but front wheels of 94/95 Foxeye RU models have a different spindle/bearing size.
Cheers mate, also done a bit of research and that sounds about right. The bearings may be diffeent but the wheel fits regardless of USD forks. As you say, 95 model ones won't directly fit due to spindle size and different discs for 6 pot calipers. They are entirely different wheels to the earlier ones.
