Pro-Bolt Fairing Kits
Try BSR Areotek on 01386 849060. Discovered them at the bike show about five years ago, when I had a Chunder Cat. Used with copaslip, never had no trouble taking off fairings, etc. Their new titanium ones are nice. Bought a set at this years show coz they were on offer (disc bolts F & R), look well smart.

i have a pic to show you all about bloody pro-bolt disc bolts not only did i find them expensive at the nec stand for six, give me 30mins
if your exup valve`s rattlin, least you know its not seized....
If you mean Pro Bolt as sold by M&P, et al, never tried them. Aerotek ones were expensive out of their catalogue that's why I bought at show coz they were nearly half price. Quality good. Old ones were a bit** to get out. Big hammer job. Found if you hit bolt head enough times previous, previous owners nut lock gave up the ghost. Why do people have to tighten bolts so bl**dy tight anyway? Havn't they heard of torque wrenches?

these were brand new, didn`t even get up 3/4 of the specified torque!! the mess around the edges is the ordeal i had to get the things back out agai

Bloody Hell, that's shocking! Imagine the hassle you would have had trying to get those buggers off in a couple of years time.leo432green wrote:these were brand new, didn`t even get up 3/4 of the specified torque!! the mess around the edges is the ordeal i had to get the things back out agai

It's all these companies competing against each other, cutting corners and quality to save a pennies or two. I guess they just don't give a rats ass about our safety! Money grabbing buggers.Drew wrote:do you's find these days the quality of steel has gone titsup whether its fasteners or anything
Rant over, normal service has been resumed.
