The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.
What I normally do is get a shringe from your local vet and some tubing from an aquatic centre. Then put some fluid in the shringe and fit the tube on to the opened nipple on the caliper and reverse bleed by pushing the fluid in the shringe up to the reservoir, so it pushes all the air to the top.
Another problem you may encounter is you'll get air trapped in the double banjo at the reservoir. What you have to do if you do is pump the brake lever so you feel some pressure. Then get a 14ml spanner and just crack open the banjo bolt and you will hear air come out, then nip the bolt back up quick.
Then you can continue bleeding all the air out of the system till there's no air bubbles in the tubes. You then should have good pressure to the brakes.
Another tip is to cover all the paintwork up in the area where you're working with with cloth's and rags. Brake fluid is horrible stuff and you don't want it anywhere near the paintwork etc.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
